Our goal is to raise healthy, happy puppies that have good conformation and temperaments.  Each breeding is planned with these goals and our future show prospects in mind.

Please read the following.

All puppies are sold with limited AKC papers unless otherwise specified.  We do not knowingly sell to pet stores, brokers, labs, 'designer dog breeders' or puppy mills.  'Limited' means this puppy is not considered breeding quality and is to be spayed or neutered, but can still participate in many AKC events if you wish to do so.

All puppies are current on vaccinations and worming when they leave home.  They will have a puppy pack to make the transition from our home to yours easier for them.  It will include a vaccination/worming record, a small bag of food, blanket or toy, feeding instructions, crate training tips, etc.

Safe shipping is available in the U.S. including Alaska at the buyer's expense from Spokane. WA..  We do not ship overseas except under special circumstances.  Shipments east of the Mississippi are subject to VIP charges or a $70 additional charge due to over night kenneling if necessary.  We charge $25 for a carrier to ship the puppy in.  It will be yours to keep.

We require a $100. non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy of your choice.  If you are interested in a puppy and do not place a deposit on it, we will not hold it for you.   Puppies will not be held past 10 weeks without a boarding fee.  Once you say you are sending a deposit, it must be received within 7 business days or the puppy will be placed back on the market. Final payment must arrive one week before shipping dates.  We will not accept personal checks for the final payment.

All studs are DNA'd through AKC.

Remember, it is your responsibility to train, socialize and maintain the health of a puppy after you purchase it. We recommend that you take your puppy to at least one puppy kindergarten class and one obedience class.

Please Check Our Adoption Page for older pups and retired adults.

We have a litter of three males born 4-3-08  Availability will be determined after we can tell costs in 2-3 weeks.

We have a litter of red brindles born 4-13-08.  Availability will be determined after we can tell coats in approximately 2-3 weeks.

Dachshunds can live for 12-14 years or longer.  They are a very unique, intelligent, loving, yet stubborn and independent breed that will steal your heart and warm your lap.  They love to play and take long walks.  Although they adjust readily to apartment living, they will do just as well out in the country.  Training sessions are best kept short and done more often.  Dachshunds are hunters, so a fenced yard should be a priority before you even consider purchasing one of these little guys.  They love to cuddle and take naps with you.  Don't be surprised if they wind up in your bed.  Dachshunds are also good with children provided the children know how to be kind and considerate when handling the small puppies.  Please do your homework and make sure a dachshund is the right breed for you and your family.

We stay with the mothers when they whelp and our babies are raised in an area just off the kitchen under close supervision.  They are loved and played with daily from birth for well socialized, happy pups!  At five weeks of age they are moved into the house in puppy pens where they are the center of attention.  As they grow, they are allowed play time in the house until they graduate to a new home of their own or join the 'group' and learn some manners.  We breed for temperament, conformation and quality.  As exhibitors, we reserve the right to have first choice on all litters for our show prospects.

We recommend that you take your new puppy to your own vet ASAP so they can get acquainted and your vet can recheck the puppy.  If for some reason the puppy is returned to us, we will take it back,  but all expenses will be paid by the purchaser.  If a puppy is returned because of a defect that we are unaware of at purchase time, a letter from your vet on a clinic letterhead will be required clearly stating the problem.   We will then take the puppy to our vet for a confirmation check.  Replacement or refunds will depend on the reason for returning the puppy and the time that has elapsed between purchase and return dates.  We make a conscientious effort to make sure all our puppies are healthy and free of undisclosed defects when sold.

If you have a specific coat or color you are interested in, e-mail and ask us if we have one.  We do not put pictures on the web page as soon as the puppies are born.  That gives us a chance to fill our waiting list and also pick the ones we want to watch grow up to see if they will be show prospects or not.  We sometimes have older puppies for sale as pets if they do not turn out as we hoped.  Because it is of utmost importance to us, it also allows us time to determine temperaments so that we can place our puppies in a home suited best for them and you.  We want our puppies to have forever homes.
