Nestled among tree covered hills and beautiful lakes in northern Idaho, our dachshunds have deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, and pine squirrels to bark at. Our pens are large and spacious with plenty of room to romp and play. There are hills for playing tag, sand for digging holes and bushes and tall grass to play hide and seek in. They are NOT crowded or kept in small pens. Puppies and adults are handled daily. Each dog has their own bed to sleep in at night. During the day, they are in spacious pens where they can go outside or inside as they choose. Their indoor areas are all heated with music for entertainment. We are both retired now, so can spend all day with our 'babies'.

We are breeder/exhibitors and we strive to raise our own show prospects. This takes careful planning for each and every litter we produce. We have smoothes, longhairs, and wirehair miniatures in reds, black and tans or chocolates and creams. Dapple and brindle are our only patterns. We do not have blues, isabellas or double dapples. Our first red female dachshund was given to us in 1985 in Valdez, Alaska. Five years later we bought our second girl, a black and tan smooth in Tulsa, OK. It was not until 1999 that we were bitten by the show bug and have bred or finished 28 champions both in the United States and Canada by the end of 2006.
